Fun chocolate making class

It was a fun class and you get to take home about 25 chocolates you make. It was nice that paper towels and hand sanitizer were provided, as this is a very hands-on activity.

Me and my boyfriend had a fantastic time taking part in this chocolate workshop. There was lots of information about the history of chocolate alongside how to make it. I will be giving this a go myself at home. My family enjoyed eating the chocolates when I brought them home.

Great interaction with the host who makes sure you are doing the right thing and making good chocolates! We made the chocolate shells, ganache, circle chocolates (can't remember exact name) with fruit and nuts of our own choice and then we filled our own chocolates. Plus we drank hot chocolate! Definitely worth the experience and you get exactly what you pay for. Value for money compared to others that I came across.

Oh my gosh, this tour was so much fun. It was started right on time. The ladies had everything well prepared. They explained step by step and was very easy to follow. The location is cleaned. We all made our own samples and got to take home a bunch. We also had some hot chocolate that one of the instructors prepared and it was delicious. Class was very fun, thank you ladies for wonderful memories.

Who doesn’t love chocolate? For anyone who enjoys a taste of local culture, enjoys this sweet treat, and enjoys learning something new/creative, this class is for you! It checks all the boxes- plus it’s FUN! The leader that we had was calm in the midst of a large group of people, she had everything impeccably prepared, she made it entertaining with her music and stories, and it was just an all around fantastic experience! Plus, you get to take home some delicious chocolates!

Nice experience, host was knowledgeable and helpful. Location is a bit tricky to find as no external signs . It does get Very hot in upstairs rooms that we used but cool and spacious in downstairs room. Came away with 21 praline chocolates plus half a dozen mendicant chocolates.

We had so much fun learning about some of the history of making chocolate. The hands on experience was exciting for all of us, and of course, tasting the final product was the best! We had a great instructor who really made the whole experience fun.

The workshop was a lot so enjoyable. Gotta meet interesting people. Agatha, our instruction is amazing and always on the rescue when we have questions. She has a lot of stories about chocolates and is the life of the workshop. Of course, the chocolates are yummy...

Good but Could be Better

I enjoyed the idea of the class but felt like we were rushed and didn't get to ask questions or have time to learn more about chocolate. I wish we had at least 3 hours. I also would have liked to have other fillings other than nuts and raisins to cut the bitterness of the dark chocolate. Peanut butter, caramel, or nougat would have been lovely. I would pay extra for these recommendations also.

Thanks for joining our workshop. We are planning on developing a longer and more advanced class, but believe me, 2.5h is the right amount of time for most people. Our staff always welcomes any question at any time during the workshop, especially during the moment we wait for the chocolate to solidify in the fridge. I am happy you had such a good time that you found the experience too short. Titch

Chocolate Belgium

The experience was good once we started however we had a session for 10 am and the worker just didn’t show up to work so we were standing outside for 30 min and if someone didn’t call I wonder if they would have even said anything. Also we felt rushed at the end, once we were collecting our chocolate we made the lady who was pushing them out with a ladle was rushing and broke at least 5 of the chocolates of ours which we spent 3 hours making , and that happened to the other guests as well. Overall I liked the idea but more execution on the owners of this workshops. Hopefully they aren’t always like this

Dear Shannon, thanks for joining our workshop. I admit we had an issue that day as our colleague didn't show up for work. That's an extraordinary situation and that's totally our team's fault. We made it up to you by organizing a special session later that day and giving you an extra 1kg of complimentary chocolate so you could do the workshop again at home. I am happy to to read you had a great experience overall, hope you will make chocolates again in the future at home and look forward to see you at our other experiences.
