Ted was awesome with his quick wit and knowledge!! I learned so much. We were so glad we were on this small group tour!! We were able to learn a lot in a close environment. It’s must if you travel to Boston!

Small groups are the way to go on the Freedom Trail... it can get pretty crowded on Boston's narrow sidewalks. We always keep groups capped at only 15 guests to ensure everyone—the guide included!—has a fun time. Thanks for supporting our local tour business, Chris!

Freedom Trail Pre- Revolutionary War tour from a historian’s point of view.

We were very impressed by our guide’s knowledge. He provided well researched comments that may not be the ones commonly mentioned in history books. He gave us insight into the main players and reasons why the revolution occurred. He captured our attention at every stop with these interested facts.

Thank you for sharing this review, Joanne! Our mission at Hub Town Tours is to go beyond routine history and bring the revolutionary world to life, warts and all. We aim to keep the story small and exciting, just like colonial Boston!

Great small group tour

The small group made it very personable. Guide was easy to follow and shared lots of facts. He took the time to get to know his group a little. I never felt rushed. Even though we had already walked the freedom trail with an online tour we learned a lot more and answered questions. He made it fun!

I liked being able to ask a lot of questions to a knowledgeable guide. And seeing the old north church.
icon Response from Host , Sep 2021
Thank you, Matthew! Most public tours of the Freedom Trail don't visit the North End, which is why we made sure to include it on the Evening Tour. Glad to hear you enjoyed the steeple (and stories) of Old North Church!

Lots of history, great tour for adults, fairly quick pace.

There was a lot of historical information on this tour. The pace was fairly fast, and our guide was great. Unfortuanely, the graveyards close at 4:30 so you cannot go inside them on this evening tour.. but still a great tour. The North End was very busy at that time of the evening (Sat evening).

Thank you for supporting our small business and writing this 5-star review, Laura! We try to fit all the history we can into our 2-hour evening walk along the Freedom Trail, but without turning the experience into a marathon sprint.
