The Boston Duck Tour covers it all—from the State House in the Beacon Hill neighborhood to Bunker Hill and the TD Garden, home to the Boston Celtics. There’s Boston Common, a public park in downtown Boston and the oldest city park in the United States; Copley Square, a sort of public square in the Back Bay neighborhood; the Big Dig central artery/tunnel project; plus Government Center to Newbury Street, Quincy Market to the Prudential Tower and more.

That’s a lot, but that’s not all. It’s time for the duck to float—with a splashdown into the Charles River for a view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines.

Important note: Multi-lingual audio guides available from Prudential Center and Museum of Science departures only.

I have been on Duck tours...

I have been on Duck tours in other cities and was looking forward to seeing Boston during the tour but I started to feel ill about twenty minutes in to the tour. The illness, nausea, was likely unrelated to your but the diesel fumes from the bus likely did not help. The tour guide was very nice and accommodating. I asked to be let off in the city and they pulled over to let us off. He checked to make sure I did not need medical care and was very nice. I hope to get the opportunity to take the tour another time.

Terrific experience with the duck boat tour however the reservation making was painful.

The duck boat ride was perfection as we had a very safe driver and an absolutely charming and informed narrator. The negative reading is due to the viator service- The reservation took 1/2 hour to make as it was very difficult to understand the person in the Philippines who answered the call. She was friendly and informed but difficult to understand; also the communication was not clear. And the ticket price was higher than it would’ve been if we bought it right at the Museum of Science where we picked up the Duck Tour.
