Unique Experience
, Nov 2021
We have kayaked and snorkelled many times, but this was a unique experience. Patrick was our guide and led us paddling through the mangroves and helped us understand this precious ecosystem.
Must do!
, Jul 2021
Patrick was a wonderful guide! We learned a lot about the mangroves, wildlife and some history of the island. The snorkeling was great and peaceful. He was terrific in speaking both English and Dutch. Highly recommend! We have done a few of these tours throughout the Caribbean Islands and by far the best!

You don’t want to miss this! Kayaking and snorkeling in the mangroves was an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Eddie, took great care to make sure everyone was comfortable and knew what to expect. The tour is suitable for any experience level so don’t worry if you have never kayaked before. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Nature
, Mar 2020
I really loved the kayak tour so much! You do a little workout in the most beautiful untouched nature. Snorkeling was also really fun and we could see lots of fishes! The guide Eddy was so funny and told us a lot about the mangroves! I would book this tour again in a heartbeat!
Everything was great till the phone went overboard
, Jan 2020
We left our cruise ship and walked down the pier where we found the tent very easily. Eddie drove out to the mangroves giving us plenty of information about the island flora, fauna and history. The two person kayaks were all in good shape and we could actually see quite well. The black mangroves were as expected with tunnels and clear water. All went well till one of our girls list her phone over the side. Eddie and crew were very helpful in helping us look and keeping the other guests entertained. Unfortunately we did not find the phone, but in spite of it had a wonderful time. Not too strenuous, the jellyfish were a beautiful surprise. Recommend for families with kids over 10.

Laid Back, Interesting, Fun!
, Jan 2020
We opted to do this tour as our last adventure on the island after a week of diving. Eddie was informative, interesting and made an effort to find out what we were interested in - then made an effort to deliver it. The pace was as quick - or slow - as you wanted, and the mangroves were amazing. Seeing a baby Barracuda in the mangrove roots and all the upside down Jellyfish was very cool!. And you can't beat finishing with a cool beverage under a palm tree in an island fishing village. Thanks Eddy!
Good kayaking
, Dec 2019
This is essentially a guided 90-minute kayaking tour through a lovely mangrove, with only a ten-minute stop within the mangrove for some snorkeling (and no tropical fish to be seen anywhere!) The guide, however, was well-informed and friendly, and the tour unfolded in an unhurried manner. The drive to the "lake" , along a heavily pot-holed dirt road, took almost as long as the tour.

A fun excursion in the Mangroves
, Nov 2019
We met at the departure point on Lac Cai by the Conch shells. Eddie was our guide and he was really knowledgable about the area as well as being reassuring and extremely helpful. I am not a big kayaker and was concerned about my ability to keep up with the group and even get into the kayak without tipping! Nothing was a problem. Eddie was always there to help if needed - and it was when we had to get back into the kayaks in waist high water in the mangroves! We didn't see a to of wildlife in the mangroves but Eddie explained to us how the eco system worked and what types of water creatures and birds lived in the area as well as how it mismanaged to ensure it remains. Because we had driven ourselves to the meeting point we were able to stay as long as we liked to snorkel in the Lac and although we didn't ee any turtles we did see a large lobster and a mid sized tarpon as well as many other smaller fish.
