I met a wonderful host in Bologna and we were both allowed to do what we love: pasta. Standing together in the kitchen, cooking, learning and chatting is so wonderful. I am so incredibly grateful that Grazia has given me this opportunity in the current situation. (For the photo without a mask). Get to know a country and the people in which you cook and eat with them. Don‘t fear alone. Try now, it is safe and you will be amazed. Grazia is a warm welcoming person. There was spinach tagliatelle with ragù alla bolognese and ricotta tortellini with family recipe pesto for my. Grazia offers variations like your taste. And on top you get Brudchetta, Dolci and Vino 😁

I strongly recommend you to book a class with Grazia if you are going to expand some time in Bologna and want to fancy a local experience. I had an one-to-one class with her and she made me feel comfortable since the first second I was in her place. I could not even see the time passing by. Looking forward to impressing some friends now with my pasta skills :)

So authentic and so much fun!

I really didn't know what to expect with this experience. We ventured into a residential apartment block, up several flights of stairs, and were then welcomed with Grazia's smile. Grazia had all of the ingredients and tools ready for us to start learning. Her charisma and energy was so warming and lovely, we felt at home straight away. She's very patient and good at teaching us through the steps at our own pace. The apartment surroundings were old skool Italian, which just added to the charm of the experience. We made two types of pasta and drank wine and ate fresh bruschetta while we waited for the pasta to set. After making the second pasta, we relaxed with more wine whilst Grazia prepared lunch for us using the pasta we just made. OMG - best pasta I've had, ever. Take this experience, you won't regret it.

Wonderful local experience!

We had a great time making pasta with Grazia. She was able to accommodate our vegetarian diet. My SO and I were the only ones attending that day, so it was awesome to have a private class. We made homemade pasta dough, and while the dough was resting we prepared bruschetta and learned about some of the local ingredients. Then we used the dough to make tagliatelle and tortelloni filled with ricotta and spinach. Grazia had prepared for us an eggplant (Norma) sauce to go with the tagliatelle and parsley pesto to go with the tortellini. Then we ate until we were stuffed, and she even had dessert for us! Over email we received the recipes to keep. Even though I have made pasta before, it was a lot of fun, and I learned the customs of the local region. This would be perfect to do at the beginning of your time in Bologna as Grazia can answer any questions you have about the city and local traditions! The class takes place in her home, which was about a 30-minute walk from the main piazza. It lasted for over 3 hours, so I think it was a tremendous value, and I would recommend it to anyone! Grazie mille!
