Jeff was enthusiastic, personable and knowledgeable. What an amazing experience! It was as if we were in the heavens… above the clouds witnessing the magic of nature with a glowing sunset and the emergence of the starry sky. We all affirmed seeing the largest brightest shooting star of our lives. Truly magical.

My favorite part of my time in the Big Island. Not only do you get to see sunset from above the clouds, but the stars are incredible! Jason was an amazing guide and I loved the intimate group size, dinner, and snacks provided. An unforgettable experience.

Amazing once in a lifetime experience

This trip had two of the most memorable moments of my life with the mountain top sunset and the evening stargazing. The drive up Mauna Kea was breathtaking and the views from the top were once in a lifetime. We followed that up with an hour of star gazing in pitch black conditions. More stars than my brain could comprehend. I was in awe. Jason our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and very patient with our group. A true gentleman. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kona.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

We had a party of six. From the moment we met Jason at the pickup point, we knew we were in well-qualified hands. His knowledge of the history, geography, geology and the constellations of Hawaii and the Hawaiian sky...and beyond... deepened the experience and made our excursion one of the richest adventures we have ever had. Worth every Penny!! Wish we had more time to go on more encounters with this company and Jason, in particular. Thank you all for providing an excellent, professional and life changing experience. We will recommend you to any of our friends and family who head to the islands.

Excellent tour and guide

I was looking forward to this tour that this company worked with me in rescheduling it due to the weather. Great service in providing weather gear to withstand the extreme cold at the summit. The guide was well knowledgeable about the island, Hawaiian culture and language, and especially the stars. I would do this tour again.

Ashley and Jason deserve all the stars in the galaxy!!!

This tour deserves more than 5 stars because they (Ashley & Jason) went above and beyond my expectations before we even started our adventure. From the very beginning Ashley was super sweet and very helpful. When we missed our pick up time she helped us meet Jason at a different location and we made it right on time for the tour. Thank you Ashley! When we finally got to Jason, he right away was super warm, friendly and understanding. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii and Mauna Kea. (He also gave us a ride all the way back to our hotel) We will be forever grateful for that! Thank you Jason! The sunset and stars were breathtaking and unbelievable. I would say it’s the best place to watch the sunset. We definitely will be coming back. Lastly to add, the food and snacks were warm and delicious!
