Make your way to the Keauhou Boat ramp at least 15 minutes before your boat's departure. Meet your guide and stow your personal items in the boat's dry bag, where they'll stay safe during your adventure. Be sure to a hat and sunscreen to protect you from the sun and a towel to dry off after your adventure.

Launch the boat and start paddling, gliding through the tropical waters under your own power. The outrigger is the traditional Hawaiian method of transportation, called Wa’a, and considered sacred to the Hawaiian ancestors. Depending on your group's wishes and skill level, you may paddle in the protected bay or head out down the Kona coast.
