Worth it

Let's start with the current topic, covid-19. All mandatory procedures are followed. Since you have to have a negative test to enter Hawai'i, masks could be removed once we left harbor and were ready to eat. Captain Morgan, I'm not making up his name, and his crew kept us safe and very informed of everything regarding protocols, things about the boat, customs, and historical part of the trip. Their service was A+ The trip was good and there is great snorkeling to be done in the area. You will see a great variety of fish. Keep an eye on the time because you will be in the water for about an hour. Do not worry if swimming is not your forte, they have all kinds of equipment to prevent you from sinking. Oh l, they also have nature friendly sun screen. The only negative thing for me was the access to Captain Cook's monument. We were not allowed to go to it even though we were right there! Apparently there are permits required that the company does not have.

The crew was awesome, and the historical stories they spoke of were great! It was a great experience! The corral reef was beautiful and they put confidence into us when we saw a shark.

The crew and their customer service were great. They were friendly and helpful. Professionally run. Our boat had about 25 people. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day and we didn’t see any dolphins but there were plenty of fish and the kids had a great time.

Bad customer service

My review is directed towards Viator the company and not the experience with the actual Sail & Snorkel. Unfortunately we did not make it to our destination since a member of our party is pregnant and she got car sick on the way to the destination. We spoke to the crew to see if the boat could be held, but they were not able to, which is 100% understandable. My issue is that I reached out to Viator for a refund and they’ve denied it several times, you would think due to COVID-19 still going on that they would be more considerate especially since the member of our party was sick (not covid related but it could of been)

Not much time to snorkel but still a great experience

Loved the snorkeling! I would have liked to have longer to snorkel, for sure - for such a long boat ride out and back it felt like no time in the water. But we loved the staff, the tour, it was excellent.

My husband is not usually a snorkeling fan because he can't see the fish without his glasses, but they had corrective goggles and he was able to enjoy. It made it awesome for the whole family. The location was superb. The crew very attentive! The boat was very nice and the captain very alert to spotting dolfins.

Was a great time, we saw a pod of spinner dolphins as we got out there and tour operators were fun. The boat was well equipped and was a highlight of our trip. Thanks!
