Our guide was right on time and come to our hotel to pick us up. We walked at a leisurely pace, our guide was flexible with letting us see items we were interested in and taking a little coffee break. it was very informative and enjoyable.

Ciarán had knowledge of politics and history / So now the Cold War is less of a mystery / As well as the usual tourist checklist / He showed us some sight we'd otherwise have missed. Thanks for a super tour Ciarán......and excuse the hastily-written couplets....no match for your epic!

We had two private walking tours with John & Barnaby. We did both the 3rd Reich Berlin and the Cold War Berlin. It was perfect and we saw sights that I never have seen in guidebooks. We were thrilled with the guides, pace of the tour and the amount of detail shared. We could not have asked for a better experience.

What a wonderful experience with Pip Phillipa a bright, energetic and high energy guide for our day. On-time and full of energy she met us in our hotel and the rest of the 4 hours was brilliant. She took us on mass transit, was able to cover the highlights of the diverse history of the city, and also referred to her educated and social knowledge of the city. Pip adjusted her schedule, and spent more time in the areas of our interest. We were so lucky to have seen sites and had conversations that reflected the historical as well as the current social scene with the day to day city interactions. Pip was extraordinary and through her, made Berlin one of our favorite cities.

Fantastic. The kids loved it. Like a personal walking tour with a professor. We’ve been to Berlin before, but this was our first tour. And wow, did we learn about all of the things we’d previously just walked by. Great experience, thank you to Michael!
