Hard Rock Cafe , Pl. de Catalunya, 21, 08002 Barcelona, Spain

Depending on the size of your group, and the traffic conditions on the day of the tour, you will return either to the main office or to Place Catalunya, which is just an easy 3-5 minute walk away.

Depart from a central Barcelona, and relax during a scenic journey toward Baga in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. Marvel at the majestic perimeter of rocky peaks in the Cadi-Moixero National Park as you arrive in Baga. Tour the village and it's medieval church and square, before enjoying you some free time to explore alone.

Traverse the French border on route to your next stop, the charming ancient spa town of Ax-Les-Thermes. After your guide recommends some of the best natural fountains to visit and soak your feet in, indulge in some free time to enjoy the healing waters and browse the local artisan shops.

Next, meet back at the bus to head toward Andorra. Travel through the beautiful Pyrenees Alps and cross the Pas de la Casa, a high-mountain pass with multiple photo opportunities.

Descend into Andorra, stopping at a typical mountain valley where you get a glimpse of stone huts dotting the mountainside, a Roman church, and embark on a short hike to experience the landscape.

From here, continue on to Andorra de la Vella, Andorra's charming capital. Explore the city and indulge in some duty-free shopping before climbing aboard the minivan for the return trip to Barcelona.

Your tour concludes with drop-off back at the departure point.

3 countries on a small minibus!!
Samantha_D
, Aug 2022
Absolutely fantastic guide in Jordi and the driver Pedro was great. We took this trip because we are trying to visit every European capital city and wanted to go to Andorra la Vell! The first two villages we visited were excellent and it was great fun passing over borders (even if we did get stopped by the guards both ways for quite a time!). The city of Andorra la Vell whilst in a spectacular setting was just a big shopping centre! The minibus needed to be bigger! We were squashed on the back seats and I couldn’t even put my arms by my sides. 4 large adults just do not fit! We thought it would be on a coach which would have been much more comfortable! There is a LOT of driving so for this reason would not recommend it! Had it been more comfortable it would have been great! Thank you to the staff - you were ace!

The guide was informative and friendly. The three countries were great. Seeing Andorra was the highlight of the trip. The country is beautiful, getting there was breathtaking and definitely a good place to shop.

A must do for anyone in Barcelona without enough time to visit these countries individually. Marcelo, the driver and Gloria, the guide were great and super knowledgeable.

Judit was a fantastic guide, and it was a great experience. There is a lot of time spent riding in the bus, but we expected it and the views of the Pyrenees on the drive are breathtaking. It was a long day but worth it to experience the 3 countries in one day. Would recommend it to friends.

This trip was good, but there was a little too much time in the capital of Andorra. Most people were finished very quickly. It would be more informative if we could have experienced a better cultural aspect of the area. That would have been more rewarding

The day went by so quickly… Our tour guide Xavier was great at showing us around and making sure that everything was going okay. We really enjoyed Baga, but also learned so much about all three countries.

The quaint villages and the tour guide was enthusiastic and seemed to really enjoy his job. It was one of my favorite European tours! I could definitely run away to one of the villages. The driving part was nice too with the homes in the countryside. There were frequent bathroom stops and clean facilities.

Great experience! Jordi is a cool and friendly guide. He made the tour fun and make sure everyone enjoy the tour. Miki the driver also a cool person. I was a bit worry that the vehicle might be uncomfortable given the long trip and rocky route. But it’s totally fine and comfortable. It was really good experience and I look forward to join another tour provided by Explore Cataluña.

A good adventure, with a few suggestions

The idea of visiting 3 countries in 1 day was very appealing to us. The most challenging part of this excursion was getting food & drink. The France stop was really too early for lunch as their restaurants would not serve until 12 and we arrived at 11:20. And when we did get something to eat, as recommended we do so before heading to Andorra, we were unable to stop in any stores as they were closed. It would have been useful to have been informed of stopping in stores when we first arrived and then search for a bite to eat at 12. Please note that the public bathrooms at the Andorra stop were not good, so perhaps there are other ones that can be recommended to go to nearby.

This was an outstanding tour. Interesting, informative and fun. The scenery and places we visited were beautiful. Well managed and loved the historical information we didn’t know about this fascinating region.. Judith and Pedro were great guides. This is a wonderful way to see a lot in one day!

This was a highlight of our trip. Our guide, Ludo, was amazing and very knowledgeable about what we were seeing and the history that is in the places we visited. We made some good friends with the other passengers on the bus so it was a great day! We had enough time in each city to feel like we did more than a quick in and out. Great tour and I highly recommend it.

Three Meals in Three Countries - Not to Be Missed
Elina_C
, Jul 2022
If you've wondered how you could have a breakfast in Spain, a lunch in France and an afternoon tea in Andorra, this day trip is your answer. Rod, our guide, was amazing. He had a huge amount of information on history, culture, local languages and current day living of all countries and areas we travelled through. The trip took us through some of the most beautiful parts of Europe and as Rod said - scenery is a huge part of the trip so don't snooze off. This trip is worth its cost and is certainly is one not to be missed!

A great way to spend a day exploring from Barcelona!!

Judith and Pedro did a fantastic job from start to finish. The stories and facts Judith shared throughout the trip brought the journey to life, and we spent the right amount of time in each city. A highlight was the rainstorm we received in France - I got quite wet but enjoyed hiding from the rain in a bakery for lunch. The trip to Andorra through the Pyrenees is especially lovely. I also really appreciated the masking requirement whenever we were onboard the bus. Pedro was a great driver and Judith was very friendly and engaged with all the passengers for the whole day. I would definitely take another tour with them if I'm back in the area!

Wonderful 3-country trip! Couldn’t ask for better

Sergio was a great guide: he was super knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. He was a great driver and I was very happy with our van accommodations— the other group had a bus that looked nice but I can’t vouch for it. I hadn’t expected much for our stop in Bagá but it was great and the folks were warm and we learned a lot more about Catalunya. Then we went to Ax-les-Thermes in France and that was also a joy as we were there in market day! Lots of free time to explore and get lunch. Then off to Andorra which was magical (and our border crossing super easy.) We stopped by “old Andorra “ before seeing the capital and did shopping (which I normally wouldn’t but is a big part of their economy). Then we can back all in a go with one pit stop. All was punctual. Sergio left us with recommendations on what else to see or eat, etc as well (and we vetted some and they’re great!) Thank you!

3 countries in one day and I didn't feel rushed. The gem of the trip is Andorra, worth the price for that alone. Enrique was a great guide knowledgeable and personable with clever non traditional anecdotes. Highly recommended
