You can get the same walking tour map at the Barcelona Visitor Center, to explore these magnificent areas independently. I would not recommend Turisme de Barcelona, because they are too rushed.

The tour group was small & the tour guide was friendly, personable and very knowledgeable. The area is fascinating and definitely a must-see.
History comes alive

Alex our tour guide gave a brilliant history tour that made the Gothic Quarter come alive. So much history would have been missed if we just wandered ourselves. I feel that by end of tour, we had a much better understanding of the history and culture of the area. Alex was a very pleasant, enthusiastic and caring tour guide. Would highly recommend this tour and cost seems very reasonable

I booked this tour for my husband and I for the morning after we arrived in Barcelona after a late flight to gain a foundation for understanding the history of the city right away. This tour exceeded our expectation. Our guide, Jordi, was outstanding. He presented his knowledge in a systematic way that made the tour fun and exciting as well as educational. The tour was organized and professional. The equipment used was up to date and comfortable (earpieces, microphones). This tour was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona as it set the stage for the rest of the activities that we had planned.
