The Thai Cooking class was one of our highlights in Bangkok! We met our guide/chef at a local train stop, went to an open air food market and learned about many food items unique to Thailand. After our small group shopped, we jumped into tuk-tuks waiting on the street that led us to the cooking school. Our chef was engaging, cooking was so much fun and we enjoyed the shared experience with our small group of 10 from all countries! We shared our meal, took group photos and the food was amazing. . . it was a delicious and authentic way to spend an afternoon in Bangkok.

We prepared very traditional Thai food, simply delicious. Ticha was very inspiring and she explained everything in detail, at the market as well as during cooking lesson. Perfect time management, preparation and a great team supporting us. Very clean and fresh ingredients. The recipes sent after the course are well structured and easy to repeat at home again.

I really loved the experience which included walking around the market and a tuk tuk ride. Ticha was a really great teacher and explained all the ingredients, what other options to use at home if we can't find something, and very patient with my limited mincing skills and stopped at each step to let us take photos. The food was really delicious, and included classics like pad thai with shrimp but also coconut chicken soup, which I never had before.

Finding the meeting point was not too hard having familiarized myself with the MRT system. Our guide, Alex took us to the local market that was a short 5 minute walk away. Doing the 5:30pm session meant that some of the market was no longer open but there is still plenty to see, smell and taste.
The class was simple enough to follow along and the food was incredibly tasty!
