Was very disappointed with guide and company as well. Tickets to museums was included when I was booking this trip, but when we were there, I had to pay again for the museums. Also when I was chatting with adviser, he said me everything there was clear, means other people have no problems

If you want to see Epidaurus, this is the way to do it!

I really wanted to see Epidaurus and it was a bit too challenging to do it on the bus system -- it's far and there isn't a lot of information. I tried to organize this alone and I wasted a of time. Landing in this small semi-private tour was a godsend. The guide, Gary was amazing! So was the driver and the local guide at Epidaurus. Even though other sites were closed, we were able to learn so much on the tour and we even had a fabulous meal in a lovely restaurant in Nafplion. Also, a big thanks to the guest services agent at Viator, Damir, for getting us into the tour. It was a really terrific day.

Spellbinding Tour of the Northern Peloponnese

We spent the entire day on the most mesmerizing visit of Bronze Age, Classical, and Modern Greece sites. Our driver, Terry, was terrific and set the stage with expert renderings of what we would see that day as well as discussions of several aspects of Greek society. Patty, our local guide, gave us all we could have hoped for in our wildest dreams and kept us spellbound with her knowledge of the historical sites. Time wise, the day was long, but flew by in terms of the wonderful experiences. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour to our closest friends and family.

This was an excellent day, the vehicle was comfortable and air conditioned and the driver was safe and helpful. Patroula the guide at both sites was very informative and pleasant. Nafpoli where we had a 1.5 hour lunch stop is lovely and I would like to spend more time there. There is some uphill walking, mainly at Mycenae as climbing to the top of the theatre at Epidaurus is not necessary in order to view it - Mycenae is at the top of a hill.

The guide didn't speak. He was always ahead of us avoiding questions. It seems that at the last moment, they didn't have a guide and substituted him with this person. If it wasn't for the beautiful places, this tour would have been a complete disaster! Viator should be very aware of booking tours with the Company Getaways Greece!

If it wasn't for the beautiful places that we visit, this tour was a disaster because of the guide. He didn't explained anything, and he was bothered when we asked any question about the history of each site. Beware if the booking tour company in Greece is GETAWAYS GREECE!

I received an email the before the tour that it was cancelled. Since my time in Athens was very limited, I booked another tour to replace it so I don't waste time. When I opened my email on the night of the booked tour, I was being reminded on meeting time and place of the cancelled tour! I missed the tour! I got flip-flopped. Can I get my money back?

All three places were wonderful but what made this more spectacular where Vicki our guide and Spyros our driver. We have so far completed 7 of 12 Viator bookings and what makes these trip even better is paying the extra and booking the small group tours. Vicki and Spyros really made this day very special. I chose this tour - organized by Getaways Greece - based not only on the sites visited, but because they offer free-time in Nafplio for lunch and site-seeing. So many other tour companies only lunched in their own company restaurants, which sounded terrible from reviews I've read. With Getaways Greece, I was able to eat where I wished while in Nafplio. The driver and coordinator, Spiros, was kind and prompt even giving us options for how to arrange our day. The licensed tour guide, Vicky, was fresh from archaeological school and showed a true passion for the subject. The tour of Epidaurus was enhanced by her personal experience excavating at the site over the past two Summers. She showed us that Epidaurus was so much more than an ancient theater. The pacing was great for those of us less physically fit. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour was enjoyable, and we appreciated stopping at some places to buy souvenirs. The tours of Epidaurus and Mycenae were informative. We would have appreciated spending more time in Nafplio, but our time was cut short because the other couple on the tour wanted to head back to Athens after Epidaurus. We stopped in Nafplio for early lunch after Mycenae and were supposed to return after Epidaurus to spend some time exploring this quaint town. Sadly, my daughter's expectation of swimming in Nafplio as suggested by the driver when we were picked up for the tour was not going to happen because we did not return to Nafplio we made it up to her later in our vacation.

That was a great tour! First of all, this small group tour provides great flexibility and saves a lot of time!Driver picked us up from our hotel and after a short drive of nearly 1 hour we reach the Corinth Canal where we had a short stop for a coffee.Great views there on top of the Canal which connects Athens with Peloponnese. After an hour drive we reached the ancient theatre of Epidaurus where we met with our official guide. The guide talked us with great passion for the monuments and explained everything about the ancient's theatre backround. Our next stop was the ancient city of Mycenae where the guide explained everything about one of the first civilazation in ancient Greece. Last stop the city of Nafplio - first capital of Greece- where we had free time for lunch and time to discover this beautifull place.. Had an amazing time!!! Definatelly recomended!

Es war eine von Christo (Getaway) hervorragend geführte Tour. Außer mir war ein junges Paar aus den USA an Bord des Mini-Van. Für mich sind nur kleine Gruppen von Interesse, bei denen es um um-fassende Informationen über Land, Leute, soziales Leben, Geschichte, Kultur etc. geht. Christo hat mit seinem freundlichen Wesen und dem kompetenten Wissen meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt.
