Fusion of the World Food Tour in Aruba

this tour was honestly amazing! michelle was our tour guide & she was very communicative from the start!! even upon getting there, she was very sweet, personable, & just excited to be there! she even waited until everyone got there, regardless of how late some were which was very kind of her since the tour lasted an hour+ longer which cut into her personal time. she didn’t even mind at all, she loves meeting people & her job. the passion shows! she was also very knowledgeable and accommodated my allergies SO WELL. i cant do butter, milk, or shellfish and she made sure all the restaurants knew prior to even starting the tour, along with reminding them when arriving, so i could still have a full experience. that truly meant a lot. the restaurants also being willing to accommodate was awesome!! my stomach didn’t hurt once!! the food was great, the workers at every restaurant were happy to be there, just overall a really awesome wholesome yummy informative tour. me and michelle even became friends!! i highly recommend. DONT FORGET TO TIP!!

If you look at our history, you will see that we take food tours wherever we go and love them as a way to get to know the culture of a city. Usually, we are taken to authentic neighborhood places which we would never find on our own. The tour guide gives information about history, culture and food. This tour began with our prepaid transportation coming 25 minutes late and delivering us to a crowd who had been waiting for us. Except for one sentence about horses swimming to Aruba and pointing out a house converted to a museum, she offered no conversation or descriptions. She could have handed us a list of the selected restaurants and let us go independently. The real shame is that when asked, she had a lot of information. The restaurants were not particularly interesting and in the last one we were given cheesecake that seemed to be a defrosted Sara Lee cake. If this had been my first food tour, I would not book another. Luckily, it was not and my husband and I will look forward to our next food adventure

We very much enjoyed this tour! Beech, our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and history. We visited restaurants that we would have never seen or discovered - and they were all delicious. We also met some wonderful people from around the world.

The interaction between the guide (Beach) and us was great. His knowledge of Aruba was thorough. Great conversation, food and drink!

We're very disappointed with the world food tour. Most of the things noted in the event description were not fulfilled. Here's a list: -promised 5 restaurants, only visited 4 -amount of food did not satisfy, still had to buy dinner afterwards. For a $200+ activity, we consider that a rip off -did not receive gift card as promised. -did not visit cuisines listed in description such as dutch, traditional aruban food, Jamaican,etc -did not have alcohol listed in description no local beer or rum

Our tour was great! Good food and company! Our guide, Beach, was very knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommend to get a flavor of the different cuisines in Aruba

We had an awesome time on the Fusion of the world food tour! Ruuben was extremely informative, fun, and helpful. It was great to have a local lead us around to fantastic restaurants and share his culture with us. It was a great experience.

Great food and plenty of time on all of the stops! Guide was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Even with our being to the island numerous times we had only previously eaten from one of the restaurants. Definitely recommend!

This was awesome experience to learn about Aruba's food & culture. There were awesome drinks and our tour guide Eddy was a really chill guy. Would definitely do this tour again.
