Private 1.5 hour Canal Tour in Amsterdam with your Loved One

There were only 4 of us on this cruise...perhaps because of the rainy day. The owner/operator was awesome! He talked about the history of Amsterdam and the construction of the canals, including describing the differences in architecture between the old and new. We saw a lot of the city which made navigating overland much easier. He also pointed out the library, Eye Museum for movies/film and This is Holland. We had not planned to visit any of these and ended up going to all of them, which greatly added to our experience in Amsterdam.

A great informative small group, 7 of us, 90 min evening canal cruise. Very friendly captain with a lovely small quiet (electric) boat.

I booked through Viator and was allocated Rederij Paping. We landed on our feet with him. He lives in Amsterdam and effortlessly chatted to us about the city and many other things during our tour. We learned so much about Amsterdam- this is our 3rd visit - that made our stay so much more enjoyable after this trip. Once Rederij knew what sort of things we liked he made several suggestions and we really enjoyed ourselves as a result. The trip itself was interesting, fun and warm thanks to the heated seats. Rederij is as friendly and charming as Amsterdam itself. I would most highly recommend his boat tour. Do it early in your trip to make the most of his advice. Thank you.

The cruise was perfect, welcoming, informative and one of the best ways to experience Amsterdam. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who would like to see and learn about Amsterdam.

There were 8 of us on the small electric boat,our tour guide is a 16 year veteran of the canals,he took us where the big boats dont go. Grab some wine and snacks and book this tour !!

Small group and small boat was a big plus. The captain was friendly, and very knowledgeable about the history of Amsterdam. His personality made us feel very welcome in his city. He even served us cinnamon candy and stroopwafels so we could taste a couple of local delicacies. I wish we could remember his name. He was have Jamacian and half Dutch born and raised in Amsterdam. The 90 minutes flew by and we were sad when the cruise ended.

It was a wonderful experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. There were only 4 of us, so it was very personalized. Great guide.

Brian and his lovely boat made our evening. The tour was very relaxing and only 2 other people joined us so it was very personal. Brian played some great jazz music while he told us some interesting facts and history, thanks Brian!
