Private Tour: Amsterdam Red Light District and Coffee Shop Tour

This tour was the highlight of our stay in Amsterdam. Our guide Tony is such an amazing guide and person. It felt like doing a tour with a friend. We learned so much about the history, coffeeshops and prostitution The Red Light District is one of these places where you just need to have a guide with you. Of course you can go there on your own, but you will miss so much. This tour is a must do for anyone visiting Amsterdam. Tony you are the best!! Wish you all the best with your company.

Amazing tour with our guide Stan. The tour was really private meaning no other people were doing the tour. It was like doing a tour with a friend. Because of the corona crisis it was also very quiet in the Red Light District what made it even a better experience. There were not many tourists but everything was already open. There were many girls in the windows. Stan has so much knowledge about the Red Light District and Amsterdam in general. This tour is a must do for anyone visiting the city. It was the highlight of our trip. Just amazing !!

Tony was punctual and gave us an amazing tour of the Red Light District. He was not only friendly but he also was considerate in asking us if there was anything specific we wanted to see or do. My husband and I really enjoy learning about the history, and Tony was very informative. We not only learned about the history but also how it is currently. I highly recommend booking this tour with Tony. You will not be disappointed. He was very reliable, and we really enjoyed it. We would never have learned so much or seen different areas around the red light district if it would not have been with him.

This tour was much more than we expected. Our guide gave us a great tour and told interesting historical facts and then went on to explain the history of the district and the coffee houses.

The tour was familiar and the guide was well prepared, but it was not my taste. The other part of Amsterdam was great. I liked the city very much.

Our tour guide, Tony(?), was wonderful! In spite of his being (only) 21, he was very considerate of our aged group. Tony was prompt at meeting us at the designated location at Central Station and took us on a well-paced informative and interesting tour of the Red Light District. We thought our tour was going to occur later in the evening, but he contacted us about considering an earlier time. I am very glad he did. He explained the Red Light district could become quite bustling in the evenings; we could already see the pace picking up as our tour was ending. FYI - You must provide your birthdate to take this tour; I can only assume Tony or Viator had the foresight to determine our group would be more comfortable with an earlier tour. He made certain we were able to get back to our hotel before departing.
