Our host was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw a lot in the time that we had. This was a shore excursion and we were returned to the ship in comfortable time. There were 11 of us in total which made for an intimate group. My only criticism was that the seating on the vehicle was a little cramped.

All the sites we visited were fantastic and well worth seeing. Our guide was very informative and friendly. As we were a small group we had lots of opportunity to talk to the guide and each other. Would recommend the Icelandic tour company Viator used for this trip.

A geological wonderland!

Our guide, Armann was superb in his knowledge of the area. The sights are so diversified - waterfalls, lava formations, fumaroles, and nature baths. You have the option to enjoy the Myvatn baths or visit the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates, a short drive away. I highly recommend this tour with Image Iceland Tours.

Good Scenery but Difficulty with Tour Company

We did enjoy the scenery on this tour but were not impressed with the Imagine Iceland tour company. We were the first to check in with them at the cruise port and were rewarded with the very back seat on the bus after being shuffled to a second bus. We could see nothing. At the first stop, the driver had to leave to assist another tour bus which had broken down. We spent 1-1/2 hours there instead of 1/2 hour. Toward the end of the tour, he said that although we were a 1/2 hour longer than the tour time indicated (I think probably from the long delay at the first stop) he would drive us through town. I was not impressed with Imagine Iceland and would recommend that you use another tour company.
