Nice tour
Nice guide, good communication. A God tour to view shipwreck and blue caves. The other stops on the tour are rather short but we already saw them so that was fine by us

Zakynthos All Day Tour Shipwreck beach, view point-Blue Caves, small groups
This tour is a must to see the main gems of Zakynthos. Only the best feedback and memories will last a lifetime. Best wishes and thanks to the tour guide, George. He is also one of the pearls of Zakynthos, who not only made the day unforgettable but also took great care of the safety of each of us!

Zakynthos : One day small group tour to Navagio beach Blue Caves & top view
Great tour, very well organized. You will explore the island in a very nice Mercedes-Van that takes you to Bohali and then to the breathtaking view point of Navagio. Then you get on you a superb boat trip to Navagio & Blue Caves, have lunch (which was OK, nothing more), wine tasting and see Cameo Island! And…Spiros, funny, competent, kind and helpful - great tourguide! Best, Niko & Carla

Highly recommend the tour. They were so organized, well plan and our guide Spyros was amazing. They did a few photo stops for us including a coffee break before the boat tour. The vehicle was very comfy.

Zakynthos : One day small group tour to Navagio beach Blue Caves & top view
I absolutely loved this tour! We got to see so many beautiful sights in just one day. Navagio beach, Navagio viewpoint and Blue Caves were absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Dennis was the best! He told us so many interesting stories and jokes about the island. He has such a bubbly personality, therefore it was so fun to have him as our guide. Overall I definitely recommend to do this tour while you are in Zakynthos!

Zakynthos All Day Tour Shipwreck beach, view point-Blue Caves, small groups
We had a really good guide that told us everything he knew about the island. We went on thr boat in the morning, before it got to hot so we went off schedule for a bit. Because of the fires we couldn't go to the shipwreck viewpoint, but we saw enough other things to make up for it. I would recommend this trip!

How to Get There

Navagio Beach is tucked into an isolated cove on the northern coast of Zakynthos (also called Zante) in the Greek Ionian Islands. The beach is only reachable by sea, and boat trips set sail from nearby Porto Vromi Bay or the village of Volimes, taking about 20 minutes to reach Navagio.

When to Get There

Despite the fact that it can only be reached by sea, Navagio Beach gets packed with day-trippers and tourist boats in the summer high season. To escape crowds, try to visit early in the morning or in late afternoon. Visiting out of season means you'll get a rare chance to photograph the beach free of crowds, but boat departures are less frequent in winter.

The Famous Shipwreck Beach

The famous Navagio Beach is often better known by its nicknames, Shipwreck Beach or Smuggler's Cove. It acquired its notoriety in October 1980, when a freighter—allegedly used by smugglers—that was being chased by the Greek Navy ran aground and was abandoned on the shore. The rusting freighter, dubbed the Panagiotis, still lies at the center of the beach, slowly sinking into the sands and providing a unique photo opportunity for beach visitors.
