Mansion House overlooks St. Helen’s Square, one of the buzziest spots in the historic center of York. The square is a popular meeting spot, with plenty of seating at its center, and several cafés and restaurants nearby. During summer, some of the surrounding businesses set up outdoor tables and people-watching opportunities abound. In December, a Christmas tree is erected at its center.
