Yangshuo Park
The Basics
Full of trees and benches, Yangshuo Park is a great escape from the city and summer heat. There are also a number of walking trails, ponds, monuments, and pavilions in the park. The pavilion at the summit of Yangshuo Park Peak, which can be reached after a 10- to 15- minute climb, offers panoramic views of the town and the surrounding karst-dominated countryside. There’s a separate play area for children, which includes a few small arcade rides.
Things to Know Before You Go
Yangshuo Park is open to the public free of charge.
Wear sturdy shoes if you plan to climb to the pavilion at the peak. The steps can be steep and uneven.
Bring water if you plan to climb to the pavilion in summer.
How to Get There
Yangshuo Park is located in central Yangshuo, on Diecui Road. The entrance is across the street from the bus station at the roundabout, and it’s about a 15-minute walk from West Street. It can easily be reached on foot or by bicycle from most of Yangshuo.
