Fly through the air high above the Nanaimo River gorge on this guided zipline tour. From 100 feet (30.5 meters) above the river, you’ll cross the entire length of the park in two quick and easy flights that span 300 and 600 feet (91 and 182 meters) each. Plus, pass beneath the “Bungee Jump” bridge, which is famous for offering six levels of bungee jumps.

The tour starts off with an exciting half hour ride by cruiser boat in the early morning with our kayaks, guide and gourmet picnic lunch. On route to the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve guests will have the opportunity to take in the spectacular scenery of rocky bluffs with wind whipped trees, sights of the open Pacific Ocean, a noisy sea lion colony, and a historic native whaling beach. We watch for gray and humpback whales as we travel across Barkley Sound. Whale spotting is all about anticipation, and sightings are truly memorable, so if you watch closely you may get a chance to see whales and other marine life throughout the season.

If you’re new to stand up paddle boarding, launching your board and standing up on it may seem intimidating. But, with some tips and a little practice, you’ll be paddling away like it’s no big deal. During this tour, we will explore Thetis Lake, Another of the many Capital Region Lake Parks, this is a very popular spot for families as it features a beautiful sandy beach. The park is actually comprised of two lakes-Upper and Lower Thetis. We will paddle from the main beach to the upper lake, we will stop for lunch on the water sitting on our boards and/or on the rocks when we will reach the upper side of the Lake. Bring your sandwichs and some water / drink and we will provide you with dry bags. you can enjoy swimming as well in this area and we can play different games with the boards before to head back to the main beach.
