The Basics

Home to the Prince Philip Science Museum, Hemispheric Planetarium (with its own IMAX cinema), Oceanographic Park (Oceanografic), and the Palace of the Arts (Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia), the City of the Arts and Sciences is a Valencia must-visit.

Purchase tickets for each individual attraction within the park, or save on combo tickets to two or more of the buildings. It’s also possible to see the attraction on guided tours of Valencia, which typically include other experiences like rooftop wine tastings, Segway sightseeing tours, or guided bike rides through the city.

Great tour, food and wines!
We were Alba’s first group. She did a really great job. She told us everything about the City of the Arts and Sciences. The tapas was delicious and the wines were really good! Thank you Alba and also for the Barcelona recommendations you gave me!

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
My tour guide, Sofía, was amazing! She took me around L'Oceanográfic, taught me all about the wonderful architecture, and even helped me practice my Spanish. Then she took me to the rooftop of a beautiful building and had me sample a plethora of delicious, beautifully-presented Valencian tapas. It was an amazing experience, especially because I was traveling alone; I was taught so much and felt like a made a new friend!

Lara was extraordinary. Very knowledgeable, charming and delighted to show us around. Her passion showed throughout the tour. The tapas and rooftop location were out of this world. We highly recommend this tour especially with Lara.

Sofia is super professional and knowledgeable, and I had the best homemade tapas ever on top 33 floor to see the best view of Valencia!

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
This tour was fantastic! Bogi was a wonderful guide. We spent about an hour, maybe an hour and a half, walking about City of Arts & Sciences while she gave us some history and interesting facts of the complex before we walked to a nearby apartment building for our lunch. That lunch alone was worth more than the price of the tour. Our group was very small (only 4 of us - my friend and I and then a couple), but we had an amazing time chatting, looking out over Valencia, working our way through several delicious small courses, and drinking the accompanying wine. Bogi and our other hostess called us a cab to the train station at the end, and even our cab driver added to our experience (pointing us to a great nearby bar, COMIC cafe, so that we could try out the infamous Agua de Valencia that the couple in our tour group had raved about). Highly recommend!

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
We had a fabulous tour of the city of arts and sciences with a lot of information! The small group we were with was great fun and we had fun enjoying tapas in a small apartment 20 stories up with an amazing view of the city of arts and sciences and Valencia. The Food was all cooked on site and the wine was plentiful. It wasn’t rushed and a great explanation was given as to each course that we tried that was paired with a wine. I would highly recommend this tour!!!

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
Nacho, our guide, is a gifted young man, who has solid knowledge of the history of Valencia and the foods we tasted. The tour description was inviting enough, but doesn't even begin to describe the experience we had! We toured the old town and the new, and then had a fantastic meal, with wine included, on top of a 20 story apartment building that had beautiful views of the city and coast.

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
Recommend not to do this during the cold seasons as the highlight is to enjoy the rooftop in open air setting. The evening we took this tour was extremely windy and we stayed bit outdoors and had our meal indoors however the ambiance was cool. Its like eating tapas and three varieties of wines under a quaint setting.

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
After a misunderstanding of starting time. The your started with a walking tour of the magnificent Music, Art and science center.. Our guide was excellent and very charming. Afterwards we were taken to a high rise apt. There we enjoyed beautiful views of the city while tasting different tapas and finally small portions of the dinner menu. It was very enjoyable evening.

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
We had a very nice time with our guide, Nacho. The tour is spent mostly enjoying wine tapas and conversation with your group. We anticipated a little more sightseeing - there was no entry into the arts and sciences buildings. But it ended up being perfectly fine as we really enjoyed the rooftop setting. We prepared to socialize at a dinner table setting with your group. We had a great group so it was fun. Plus the drinks were flowing to loosen us all up! Great views as well.
