The Basics

The interior of Peles Castle is richly adorned with carvings, inlay, antiques, and artworks, and can be seen only on guided tours. Join a shorter tour of the ground floor only, or a longer tour that includes the upper level of the palace.

Day trips and multi-day tours of Transylvania often combine Peles Castle with visits to other historic landmarks in the region, such as Bran Castle and Râșnov Fortress. You can also explore both Peles Castle and Pelisor Castle, an art-nouveau-style royal residence on the same estate.

Fantastic guide and tour
Tiberiu is a fantastic guide and we greatly enjoyed our trip and day with him. He showed us features of the castles that we would have missed and told us about the history of the area. He went above and beyond. I highly recommend this trip!

Dan was a fantastic guide and turned a pandemic-period tour into a great experience. His knowledge of Romanian & Transylvanian history really built a solid base to understand what led to status quo of today.

Private Day Trip to Peles Castle, Dracula's Castle and Brasov
This trip was very enjoyable, just be ready for a full day. Peles castle is quite beautiful. Personally loved Bran’s castle with all its history. And Brasov was a very charming city. Our driver, Emil, was very friendly. Answered all questions, gave us clear instructions of where to go and where he would pick us up. Between the driver and the sights we Had an enjoyable day.

What a great experience and tour. One of the best I have done. Dan was an amazing tour guide and his knowledge and insights to the history of the castles and Fortress were first rate. If you are staying in or near Brasov, do yourself a favor and book this tour - very well worth it!!
