Survival Japanese Communication
Language barriers can make traveling around Japan a challenging experience for a first-time visitor. This lesson is the perfect antidote for foreign visitors who don’t speak Japanese. Learn essential communications skills, such as how to order at restaurants, how to ask where something is, and lots of useful phrases for the trip. No need to worry about being stuck in a classroom—the tour goes to a local jazz cafe, and a standing bar, so you’ll get to see cool local spots as you learn.

Hello! And thank you for your interest in this tour. Japan seems to be one of the most interesting countries in the world.
In this virtual experience, you get to learn the basic Japanese language from a local tour guide! Based on various criteria including language, culture, and even food, we will take you on a cultural and comprehensive discourse of Japanese culture. We call it, JAPANESE 101.
What should you expect from this tour? Well, we do have some things to share like how to order at reastaurants, useful pharases in Japanese etc, but it will mostly be up to you! So please make sure to have a lot of questions beforehand as your local guide will answer every one of them, while socialising with you.

Learn Japan's Secret Cultural Stories Online
Join our virtual tour and find out Japanese secret cultural stories by local guides. Relax and uncover our unique culture from your home!
Hi!
I've been working as a tour guide in Japan for more than 5 years.
I guided many different types of tours such as nightlife tours in Shinjuku and Shibuya, food tours in Ginza and Tsukiji, and cultural tours of Sumo, Zen, and anime!
Through many experiences of tours, I acquired deep insights of Japanese history and culture .
Because Japan is an island and never got colonized in the history, unique cultures were developed such as Samurai, Geisha, Ninja, and Sumo. However, it's often too deep to understand those cultural aspects for foreign tourists. We can talk about our cultural curiosities!
I will be offering this experience with a group of friends who are also experienced tour guides and passionate about sharing the secret stories with you.
