The Basics

Built in a commanding position on a hill overlooking the valley area, the Spanish mission is a long-standing Santa Barbara favorite, known for its rolling lawns and impressive rose garden, both open to the public year-round. Learn about brutal early colonization efforts on a tour, wander the well-kept grounds, and see the beautiful church nave. Depending on the day, it's possible to catch a performance by the longest-running choral singing group in California.

Santa Barbara Experience
This bike tour was amazing! Sergio was our guide and showed us places that we would never have found on our own. He is so knowledgeable about the area. We have to come back next year to explore even more. And the e-bikes were great!

Mountains to Shore Biking Tour in Santa Barbara
This was SO FUN! Was a wonderful way to experience Santa Barbara. The drive to the top of the mountain was a bit scary due to the narrow, curvy and steep roads...but it was WORTH IT! The views were amazing and it was so easy just coasting down the road on bikes.

Our family of three is 70, 56, and 17, and we’re all at various fitness levels. The bikes were in perfect shape and so easy to ride. Our guide Davis was terrific! He gave us an incredibly beautiful and knowledgeable 2.5 hour tour. So much fun!

Santa Barbara, Solvang and Hearst Castle Day Trip from Los Angeles
I took this tour on 5 February 2020 - turned out I was the only client, but fortunately the policy is to run the tour in these cases, even for 1 passenger. My driver was Jacob, who was knowledgeable and amusing. The SUV we had was comfortable and quiet. It was a long day, but a very worthwhile one for me, as I had limited time in LA, so this tour, which took in Santa Barbara Mission, the Danish town of Solvang, and the Hearst Castle, was great. The Hearst Castle was the highlight and the tour cost included entry and the main tour fees. Solvang and Santa Barbara were also interesting but the focus is (rightly in my view) the Hearst Castle. As I was the only passenger, we had some extra time which Jacob utilised to take me to an elephant seal colony near the Hearst Castle - an unexpected bonus, which I really appreciated. The journey home is a long one, longer in this case due to terrible traffic, but a very worthwhile day. Be prepared to buy your lunch and snacks to eat en route, and you will save time you can better spend on visiting locations. Thanks, Jacob!

Mountains to Shore Biking Tour in Santa Barbara
This trip is a great way to get a quick overview of the Santa barbara region, from the mountain mansions to the Cruz down state st. Both guides are friendly and knowledgable. My wife an I are both physicians and the tour is Covid safe. No serious biking background needed.
