Dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci, the Leonardo da Vinci Museum (Mostra di Leonardo) is a hands-on examination of some of the most important and innovative machines created by Italy’s influential luminary. Visit the permanent interactive exhibition to learn about the man and his inventions through working models and 3D holograms.
Mostra di Leonardo offers an engaging, kid-friendly introduction to the inventor and artist. Explore the museum’s collection of wooden models of dozens of da Vinci’s machines, as well as 3D holograms demonstrating the engineering behind his inventions and the techniques used to create his famous paintings. In the final hall, peer beneath the glass floor to see the tomb of Aulo Irzio, a Roman lieutenant killed in 43 BC during the Battle of Modena. Discovered in 1938, the tomb is submerged under the waters of the Euripus, the underground waterway that flows through Rome’s historic center and drains into the Tiber River.
In the heart of Rome, Mostra di Leonardo is an easy stop for travelers visiting the most popular sights in the Eternal City. Book your ticket in advance to skip the long entry line.

We went directly to da Vinci Museum to ear that we had to walk 25 minutes to get the tickets!!! We bought all our tours with Viator and the agent was on the site to give us tickets. In that particular case, we don't know all the Piazza names so we didn't figured that we had to be at 2 different places to get the tour. The Opera had our name at the entrance, Viator should do the same with the di Vinci museum or have someone to meet the clients there on a time set.
