Good for Kids
Remakes of Disney classics like The Lion King, Aladdin, and Frozen are family favorites, as well as School of Rock, based on the 2003 Jack Black movie, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Out with Friends
For an entertaining night out with friends in Manhattan, choose a buzzed-about, not-suitable-for-children show like The Book of Mormon, by the creators of South Park ; Kinky Boots, with music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper; or Avenue Q, known for its use of puppets dealing with adult themes.
