Beautiful Middle Harbour Sunriser / Guided Kayaking Tour

Beautiful Middle Harbour Sunriser / Guided Kayaking Tour

star-5

Our main paddling area is within Middle Harbour (a beautiful off-shoot of Sydney Harbour) and depending on the conditions of the day, we can explore many amazing places. We start at 6am to paddle out to see the sunrise over Sydney's Heads. During our two hours, we could explore out to Grotto Point Light-house, or over to Cobbler's Beach and even into Balmoral. If the day is just right, then we can take a hike up to Middle Head and watch the manly ferries cruise past. We will stop somewhere lovely for a hot coffee and some fresh fruit.

During our 28 years on Sydney Harbour, we know all the top spots to visit. We can explore many different locations depending on the conditions and we will do it in style by using beautiful Australian made lightweight sea kayaks (made by Mirage Sea Kayaks). On our paddle, it is more enjoyable that we cruise at a leisurely pace, therefore you will only need a moderate level of fitness. You will need to be at least an intermediate or experienced kayaker. We do not recommend this tour for beginner paddlers. Beginner paddlers should first start with our Middle Harbour Eco Tour

The other side of the Blue Mountains

If you want to see some sensational scenery this is the day for you. Mountains, valleys, escarpments, geometric rock formations, waterfalls, ferns, rainforest and botanical gardens are all on the itinerary. The day includes two bushwalks - one to a majestic lookout and the other through rainforest. Neither are long but if you would prefer not to bushwalk we have some very enticing alternatives. At Mt Wilson we admire the Cathedral of Ferns and have a short look at the quirky Museum of Turkish Baths. At Du Faur Lookout we will see some extraordinary sandstone formations. Two very different gardens are included, the Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens and Windyridge Gardens. Both are high quality. The panorama of Govetts Leap lookout, Evans Lookout and Echo Point are mandatory when we head South of the Grose River. By the end of the day you will be saying that your eyes are exhausted from beautiful scenery. At this point we head home.

Sydney Harbour walks

Sydney Harbour walks

An excellent way to experience the harbour from all angles and get a feel for the watery heart of Sydney when we visit three very different locations. Three walks covering the inner west, north and east of the harbour are on our agenda. We will have a look at historic Balmain and Ballast Point on our first walk. Second walk covers the north side of the harbour and Sydney Harbour National Park. The final walk takes us to the Eastern Suburbs where we look across the harbour to Sydney's glistening city. Walk time is flexible as is the itinerary. For other walk options please send an email or ring to discuss. If you would like gentle walks we can soon change things around. Something more strenuous can also be accommodated. There is a lot to see out there so lets get moving.
