Hellabrunn Zoo (Tierpark Hellabrunn) Tours

Tierpark Hellabrunn, Munich's zoo, is organized geographically by continents and natural habitats of the creatures and critters that inhabit the site. Some of the most popular areas for visitors are the creatively named 'Villa Dracula' for bats, the 'Polarium' for penguins and polar bears, and 'Orangutan Paradise.'
Travelers will find unobstructed views of the zoo's inhabitants, and the little ones will especially enjoy watching their 5,000 new furry, aquatic and feathered friends during feeding time. At the petting zoo, kids are also allowed to feed the deer and goats.
Practical Info
The largest zoo in Europe, Tierpark Hellabrunn uniquely allows leashed dogs on its grounds. Meet and greets are available with ring-tailed lemurs, elephants, giant tortoise, sea lions and camels, plus their respective zookeepers, so children and adults alike can learn even more about their favorite animals.

Family Day In Munich With A Local: Private & Personalized
Make life-long memories with your tribe as you follow our local Munich host on a family-friendly adventure through the city. Stroll through the 900 acre Englisher Garten or visit one of the many city playgrounds. If you want to throw in a bit of history, explore the Deutsches Museum with its 1000 interactive exhibits. And nothing beats a snack (or two, or three). We’d recommend a giant pretzel, perhaps in the leafy surrounds of a biergarten - beer for you, pretzels for the kids.
Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host who will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.
