SW 8th Street, between Cuban Memorial Boulevard and SW 18 Avenue, Miami

The Basics

The neighborhood’s colorful spirit unfolds on Calle Ocho, Little Havana’s bustling main street, reminiscent of Cuba. On this block between SW 15th and 17th avenues, the Miami Arts District contains a string of studios and galleries that showcase some of the best Latin American art in the country. Nearby, travelers will find the Bay of Pigs Museum & Library, which enshrines the crew of the ill-fated Bay of Pigs invasion, and on the two blocks at SW 13th Street, south of Calle Ocho, are monuments of Cuban patriots and freedom fighters.

Many tour options combine a visit to Little Havana with tours of other popular spots in Miami and the surrounding area: South Beach and its art deco architecture, Miami Beach, the Everglades, Coconut Grove, or the art galleries in nearby Wynwood. Walking tours and bike tours are easy ways to see the area, while bus tours can be a welcome respite from Miami's summer heat. Half-day Little Havana tours take in the neighborhood's sights, while full-day options also visit other Miami highlights.

Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami
This was our first food walking tour and it really set the bar high! The food was great and Little Havana has so much interesting history, but our tour guide Gina really made our experience unforgettable. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining. 10/10 experience and will recommend to any friends and family traveling to Miami!

Authentic Little Havana Food and Culture Walking Tour
The Little Havana Food and Culture Walking Tour was an eye opener. As a visitor to Miami I did not know that a truly Cuban community existed in Miami - where even some people living there could not speak English! Our guide was very knowledgeable, the food was good and the distance traveled on foot not too great. A highly enjoyable experience.

Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami
So much fun. I was worried about taking a tour with all the restrictions due to covid but I'm glad we did. It was easy to hear our guide Gina speak. She was such a pleasure. We had a great time and it felt like it was the perfect length of time to enjoy ourselves and take in the culture.

Cultural and Food Walking Tour through Little Havana in Miami
Danny was very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. He took us through some local shops and even knew the owners by name. Felt like it was a family member showing you their home town. We drank some coffee, smoothies, churros and some delicious Cuban food at the end. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami
The whole experience from beginning to end. We weren’t sure we were in the right place, and he was a comedian from start to finish!! The portions aren’t what you would think for a normal food tour. We left stuffed. Everyone should take this tour, alot of history and delicious food and good people. Raphael aka Ralphie was the best tour guide. What other tour guide lives in little Havana?? We could of stayed with him all day!!! ❤️❤️

Private Tour to Miami Beach, Wynwood and Little Havana with Classic Convertible
The car was fun & Anne-Sophie was great! Despite living in Miami for 2 years, she provided history that we hadn't heard before. It was fun taking in the scenery and taking pictures in the 'drop top'!

What to Eat in Little Havana

One of the best ways to experience a culture is through its food, and Cuban culture in Miami’s Little Havana is no exception. On a Little Havana food tour, you can taste Cuban specialties such as guava pastries, chicken plantain cups, and flan ice cream while learning about Cuban traditions, history, and culinary practices from a local tour guide.
