Melbourne Star Observation Wheel Tours
1 Review

See Melbourne from a different angle on the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel, the only attraction of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Towering 400 feet (120 meters) above the Docklands, the wheel offers passengers 360-degree views over Melbourne, and is one of the most popular activities in the city.
The Basics
The Melbourne Star Observation Wheel features 21 air-conditioned capsules with floor-to-ceiling glass windows; each car seats 20 passengers. Onboard audio commentary provides insight into the history and significance of the city and various sights. Tickets and experiences range from a single 30-minute rotation to double daytime and nighttime rides. Extras like sparkling wine, sangria, storytelling, or even yoga flights are available.
Reach the wheel on a hop-on hop-off bus tour that explores other city attractions at your leisure. For the best value, purchase a multi-city, multi-attraction pass that includes admission to more than 100 attractions across Australia.
