The Basics

At the Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park, the houses from the different areas of the region are set on what looks like a residential street. Stroll through them at your leisure, taking time to study the structures and the exhibits they hold; each home is decorated in a way that reflects the state or country it comes from and contains handicrafts displays. The park also puts on music and dance performances and offers kayaking, fishing, horse riding, and traditional games from around Malaysia.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • The park charges different entry fees for Malaysians and non-Malaysians.

  • It’s a good idea to supervise your kids at all times, as some parts of the park are under construction or in need of renovation and could be hazardous.

  • Wear slip-on shoes if possible, as shoes must be removed to enter the houses.

  • There’s a small pool within the park, which is particularly suitable for young kids to cool off in.
