Arch of Cabo San Lucas (El Arco)

Land's End, Cabo San Lucas, 23410

The Basics

Because El Arco is a natural formation that’s accessible only by water, the only way to get close to it is by boat. Numerous tours leaving from the Cabo San Lucas marina offer various ways to see the arch. Adventurous travelers can opt for a kayaking and snorkeling tour—or parasail over it! Those looking to relax with friends can sail by it on a catamaran or sailboat, or take an evening cruise that includes dinner and drinks.

The boat was large, there...

Snorkeling Tour in Cabo San Lucas
The boat was large, there was enough shade and clean bathrooms. The lunch was ample and tasty. The drinks were served to us by the fabulous staff from the moment we stepped on the Catamaran until the bar closed 3 hours later. But the best part was the snorkeling. The equipment was good, fit well, and it didn't leak. There were tons of beautiful fish. The ride back was fun with good music and more drinks. Highly recommend this activity and company.

Private Boat Tour from Cabo San Lucas with Snorkeling Gear 6 pax
Anthony was such a calm and amazing host! We ate, swam, relaxed, played music and took lots of pictures. Not only did we pull out to “sea” right on time, but he made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. The boat was clean/sanitized and the bathroom was spotless! Highly recommend over any other “boat” experience for smaller groups.

Luxury Sailing and Snorkeling Cruise in Cabo San Lucas
Highly recommend. The crew was great. The boat was clean and newer. Drinks and food were good. We had a a great time just cruising the bay, soaking in the sun, and watching the crazy people in the small boats. Highly recommend! Worth the money especially with wanting to social distance on a larger boat.

Private Boat Tour from Cabo San Lucas with Snorkeling Gear 6 pax
Amazing adventure with Cici and Alan! We had fun and learned a lot about the Sea of Cortez and Baja California. Took two girls, 9 & 10, and they had a great time snorkeling and laying out on the float. Excellent option for staying safe with COVID looming!

Snorkeling Tour in Cabo San Lucas
We had a great time on this tour. Boat was clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. Snorkeling was fun. Wish we had a little more time for that but overall it was a great trip. Even with me getting sea sick the staff was right there to help me. Definitely would book again.

When to Get There

The tropical climate of Los Cabos makes El Arco delightful to explore year-round, but keep in mind that the area is at its busiest around winter (between November and April) and its rainiest in late summer.

Marine Life Around El Arco

Those interested in marine life will enjoy a scuba or snorkeling tour around El Arco. Glass-bottom kayak tours go past colonies of sea lions and plenty of tropical fish on the way to Pelican Rock and Lover’s Beach (Playa del Amor). Larger glass-bottom boat tours explore the history of Los Cabos as passengers enjoy sweeping views of Pelican Rock, El Arco, and Land’s End—where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez.
