The Basics

There are a variety of ways to see Hollywood, from open-air bus to trolley and bike tours. Most of the sights line up neatly along a 1-mile (1.6-kilometer) stretch of Hollywood Boulevard between La Brea Avenue and Vine Street.

Gaze upon many celebrity homes—from the exterior only—on sightseeing tours of the area, particularly in Beverly Hills and the Hollywood Hills; or, combine a city tour with a visit to nearby theme parks including Universal Studios Hollywood or Disneyland® Resort. Full-day tours to Hollywood run from Los Angeles, Anaheim, and even Las Vegas.

Great experience
This was definitely a great experience! The walk up was not the easiest, get ready for a workout. The way down was a breeze. Great views and places to take pics along the way I would recommend it to anyone visiting LA. Our tour guide Anthony was very knowledgeable and engaged us with jokes. 10/10!

Our tour guide was just amazing his name is JB. He was absolutely awesome! My son is autistic when he was ready to give up Jb said come on you can do it! And stopped and waited for him to get to the top of the Hollywood sign! Great tour definitely worth the 25.00 we paid! Highly recommend

Half Day Hollywood and Beverly Hills Tour
Our driver was very informative and seemed to know so many facts about Hollywood & the surrounding area. We weren't rushed and got to experience Hollywood/LA area in the time allotted.

Ghosts of Hollywood: Haunting Stories Exploration Game
We did have fun, we get enjoy Hollywood on our vacation. This game took quite a while almost 4 hours. Also ends in a weird location. Although the story was really cool. We kept doubting the game wasn't updated enough. It was! Every time! Lots of work.

The Real Hollywood Walking Tour
The Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Roosevelt Hotel were great. The Chinese and Egyptian theaters were a disappointment not the fault of the Viator tour guide. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I really wanted to see the inside of at least one vintage Hollywood movie house, so I was disappointed in the end.

Enjoyable sunset hike up to the Hollywood sign. JB told a lot of interesting stories and made sure to interact with everyone, which was great when you are hiking solo. Group sizes were small and everyone was really friendly. Memorable experience and great end to my trip. The only thing I would add is that I would recommend pre booking a ride if using uber/Lyft as did struggle to get a pick up late evening.

Griffith Observatory Hike: An LA Tour through the Hollywood Hills
The views. Definitely the views. We actually missed the tour because of poor planning with driving times, but it was still worth it. My husband has a fear of heights. I had totally missed that when I booked. We had a marvelous tour on our own and the views from the Observatory were priceless!

Loved the tour. Especially with Emily as a guide. She is amazing! There was so much that I didn’t know yet about the Hollywood sign.
