Your guide during the train ride will illustrate The Eternal City with a map to help you get your bearings. Once in Rome, you will step inside the sovereign city-state of the Vatican; visiting St Peter’s Basilica and St Peter’s Square from the outside.
From there we will take a to Piazza Navona, which was originally the Stadium of Emperor Domitian. Next, we’ll take a 10-minute walk to the Pantheon, the Temple of all Gods and the best-preserved monument of Ancient Rome.
