Private Tokyo food scene 6 hour experience: Depatika, street food, izakaya
"Simon was great about communicating exactly where we would meet to begin our tour. We started in station underground food courts and it was a great way to get oriented to Japanese food and gift giving culture around food. We then moved on to several neighborhoods where we enjoyed delicious local street food and drink! We topped of our day having a lovely sit down dinner and Simon made sure I was able to find my way back to my hotel using Tokyo subways. I found Simon easy to be with and fun to talk to. We have some things in common and it was reassuring and comforting to be able to feel at ease during our time together as I booked the tour as a solo traveler. Simon took great care to explain details about the food and culture and how these are so uniquely intertwined in Japan and the specific neighborhoods we visited in tokyo. I was able to try things I otherwise would not have experienced not had the capacity to access. I really had a great time!"..."

Traditional or Vegetarian Sushi Making Class with a Local Masahito in Asakusa
"My son and I were warmly welcomed by a cheerful Masa and Junko on our arrival. The cooking studio is attractive, nicely laid out and cosy, We were taught clearly and patiently step by step throughout, plus on how to hold and use the knife properly and the skill of how to cut the delicate fish at different angles. There is also skill on how to handle and shape the rice, which makes you appreciate the care that goes into the preparation of food in Japan. We sat down later on to eat what we had prepared ourselves, followed by the opportunity to sit and talk amongst ourselves at the end. A rewarding experience with really nice people. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience, and was made even more special by working together with local people. We are so glad we booked this experience, it was perfect!"..."
