Awesome place. Have loved it since I was a kid. It was Clean and the air-conditioning was definitely working, lunch is pricey, and definitely park down the street for free $20 for parking is ridiculous.

Excellent discount (at counter it was 25$ per adult). Great day out with family looking at the lost world, gem collection, Texas gulf species, etc etc. If you live in Houston it is a must see and if you're a tourist for for >5 days in city it s a great spot right besides the beautiful Hermann Park.

Dinosaur fossils were awesome. Kids learned a lot about Texas wildlife. If the Egyptian exhibit was included or at a lower cost would make it perfect.

My daughter loved the gemstone and mineral exhibit! We also appreciated the dinosaur exhibit, although I wish there were some more labels that explained more on each exhibit and where they came from and what year.

I love visiting the Butterfly center and that was my favorite part of the trip. In the general walk through I liked the historical aspect of the Faberge exhibit.
