The Basics

Access to the Irish Whiskey Museum is by guided tour only. Join a 1-hour guided tour to find out more about Irish whiskey production, the social importance of the spirit, and its rise, fall, and resurgence in Ireland and beyond. Tours conclude with an Irish whiskey tasting session. Upgrade to a premium tour to enjoy an additional sample of a premium aged whiskey as well as a take-home souvenir.

For an extra treat, opt for a whiskey and brunch experience, which combines a guided tour and tasting with a typical Irish brunch at the on-site Cafe Bar. Whiskey connoisseurs might want to opt for a whiskey blending experience, which includes a guided tour, a tasting of four Irish whiskies, and the opportunity to blend and take home their own 1-ounce (30-ml) bottle of whiskey.

Dublin: Irish Rock and Roll Music & Whiskey Tour
It was cool to learn about more Irish musicians that we didn't already know about. We were also given lots of city history that we weren't expecting. That helped our tour to be well rounded!! Loved it! Such a kind and helpful guide as well!!

It was a good tour except for not having enough places to sit while tour guy talked about history. The first 2 rooms we went into did not have enough seating or the tour was too big for what you can accommodate...for older people it's tough standing for so long... but the info we received and the tasting where fun..

Right in the middle of Dublin is this little museum packed with interesting info on Irish history and the history of the making of whisky both here and abroad. Our guide was amazing! The brunch was held in a pub room and was delicious. Great experience!

This was a good tour to try a bunch of different Irish Whiskeys. The other tours only offer their own brands, but this one offers all kinds of brands and is a true representation of Irish Whiskey.

Irish Whiskey Museum: Whiskey and Brunch Experience
This was a fascinating experience. Do not let the photos of the outside of this museum deceive you! The museum is on multiple floors. Check in is inside their modest and stylish gift shop. The tour takes you through several rooms and floors. Each room is detailed to the particular period/history of Irish Whiskey making. The tour leader thoroughly explains the history of Irish Whiskey making with flair and extensive knowledge. Your final destination, before breakfast, is a gorgeous, classy and very large tasting room. We learned so much about the process for making the whiskey and the best way to taste the final product. We encourage anyone, especially whiskey novices, to take this tour and brunch experience. When it is over, you will find yourself in the heart of Dublin.
