Museum of Illusions Dubai Tours

Explore the world of illusions and test the limits of your perception at Dubai’s immersive Museum of Illusions. Spanning around 4,845 square feet (450 square meters), the museum features more than 80 interactive exhibits, mind-bending optical illusions, stereograms, and holograms, as well as a playroom with puzzles to challenge the mind.
The Basics
The Museum of Illusions in Dubai, with more than 80 different exhibits and illusions, is the largest in a chain of museums that started in Croatia. Highlights include a vortex tunnel; rooms such as an upside-down room, size-distorting Ames room, anti-gravity room, and infinity room; and installations such as Head-on-a-Platter and True Mirror. Don’t miss the playroom, where you can play, compete, and learn with dilemma and logic games, brainteasers, and wooden puzzles.
Things to Know Before You Go
How to Get There
The Museum of Illusions is located in the Al Seef development, near Dubai Creek. Al Seef offers valet and underground parking and is accessible by water taxis and abras along Dubai Creek. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Al Fahidi Metro Station (.6 miles or 1 kilometer away) and a 20-minute walk from the Burjuman Metro Station (1 mile or 1.7 kilometers).
When to Get There
The museum is open daily from midmorning to late at night. It's a great option when it’s too hot to be outside. Plan for at least 60 minutes—longer if you want to spend more time playing the games and puzzles in the playroom.

Stretching for more than one mile (1.6 kilometers), the Al Seef Development is a heritage and cultural destination with a waterfront promenade in Dubai. A lifestyle and entertainment destination, it features around 500 restaurants, shops, art galleries, entertainment options, a traditional souk, open-air markets, and floating markets.
