Chicago Chinatown

318 W Cermak Rd, Chicago, Illinois

The Basics

The most popular activity for most Chinatown visitors is eating; there’s a range of budget-friendly options along Wentworth Avenue. Discover Chinese delicacies that you may otherwise have missed on a food-and-walking tour, which typically include dishes such as Hong Kong-style barbecue, Cantonese dim sum, and spicy Szechuan noodles. Pick up imported Chinese herbs and traditional ingredients at local grocers, or shop for Far East-inspired trinkets at souvenir shops.

Chicago's Chinatown Food and Walking Tour
Great food, information, friendly & engaging tour guide. Appreciated the walk through Chinatown with the architecture, colors, and people. Only complaint was there was no social distancing. All Covid-19 Safety measures information on vendor ticket was not adhered to.

Chicago's Chinatown Food and Walking Tour
Great food, great tour guide, and great people on our Chinatown walking food tour. We took the water taxi there and back, so it was like a mini-vacation. Highly recommend upgrading to the VIP option with enhanced beverages - definitely a delicious choice.

Very enjoyable. I would go again

Chicago's Chinatown Food and Walking Tour
The best part was trying new and different Chinese food. Seeing both parts of Chinatown. I wish we had more time to stop and take pictures but we had to get to every stop on time. It was interesting but I could have done with out all the history of each place. Maybe a little history of the restaurant and that’s all.

Chinese Cultural Walk

While Chinatown is best known for its food, there are a handful of cultural attractions worth visiting, too. Step inside a functional Buddhist temple on Wentworth Ave, stroll past traditional-style buildings in Ping Tom Memorial Park, and admire public art such as a column covered in spiraling dragons near Cermack and Princeton streets.
