SEA LIFE® Blackpool Tours and Activities

SEA LIFE® Blackpool
Located on Blackpool’s promenade, SEA LIFE® Blackpool is a popular, family-friendly attraction. The center houses more than 2,000 sea creatures, allowing visitors to marvel at the marine life of the UK’s shoreline and the world’s deepest oceans—from sharks and rays to seahorses, reef fish, and turtles.

The Basics
Visitors to SEA LIFE Blackpool can get a close-up view of many of the world’s underwater wonders. Walk through the Ocean Tunnel—a see-through corridor where sharks, turtles, and fish swim all around you—and explore the mysterious world of the Stingray Adventure. Other attractions include Atlantic Depths, with tanks featuring octopus and lobster; a Submarine Explorer descent to the ocean bed; and displays of seahorses, rockpool specimens, and rain forest creatures.

Travelers can visit SEA LIFE Blackpool independently with a regular admission ticket or enjoy entry to the aquarium and other Blackpool attractions as part of the Blackpool Big Ticket discount sightseeing pass.

As well as being easily accessible on foot, the aquarium is simple to reach by public transport. Hop off buses at the promenade’s Brunswick Street stop, or take a tram to the Central Pier stop, almost opposite the aquarium entrance. Drivers should follow the signs to Blackpool promenade (A584) and use the public parking lot on nearby Bonny Street.
When to Get There
