Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum Tours

Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum
Brimming with interactive science and technology displays, Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum is home to everything from talking robots and steam engines to a planetarium and marine life gallery. The hands-on exhibits span four stories inside the Millennium Point building, and offer entertainment and education for visitors of all ages.

The Basics
Explore the exhibits covering more than 250 years of innovation, and browse collections of machines, mechanical devices, and more. When you’ve had your fill of technology, head to the natural sciences portions of the museum and check out the animals, plants, and minerals.

Thinktank often hosts special events and rotating tours and activities—check the museum’s website for details. Many travelers like to pair a trip to Thinktank with a visit to the National Sea Life Centre,  LEGOLAND®, or the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park.

Things to Know Before You Go
  • Thinktank is a must for technology and natural science enthusiasts.
  • The museum is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.
  • You can buy food at the on-site café, or take a lunch to eat in the picnic area.
